Built around how wedding stationers actually work
A suite is five products pretending to be one
Invitation, RSVP, details card, envelope, wax seal: each has its own material cost. A suite's recipe totals the whole ensemble, so the per-suite price is built on everything in the envelope.
Eight palette colors, every design
Blush, sage, dusty blue, navy: couples choose palettes, you stock them. Keep each palette's cardstock as its own material with its own count, and from the Maker plan each color of a suite can be a variation with its own cost and price, without eight parallel spreadsheets.
Wedding dates don't reschedule for stockouts
The June wedding's invitations mail in April, which means the cardstock has to arrive in March. Work back from the mail date, and from the Maker plan Keepsel's low-stock alerts and Suli's reorder list flag the cardstock before it runs short.
Samples sell suites, and cost money
Sample packs convert couples but consume real cardstock, foil and postage. Costing samples as their own product turns a marketing mystery into a known cost of winning a client.
A day in Keepsel, for wedding stationers
Step 1
Shelve the palette
Cardstock by the sheet in every palette color, envelopes, vellum, ribbon and wax by the piece.
Step 2
Build the suite's recipe
Each set of 25 knows its sheets, envelopes, seals and ribbon, with sample packs costed alongside.
Step 3
Book the wedding, check the shelf
Before you confirm 100 suites in sage, check the sage cardstock on hand; from the Maker plan (or 25 messages free on the trial) you can ask Suli how many suites your stock covers.
Step 4
Print, assemble, and hit the date
From the Maker plan, a work order for the run draws the materials down and adds the finished suites to stock (up to 10 a month on Maker as a trial and 100 on Team, unlimited on Business and Enterprise).
Questions wedding stationers ask
How do I price wedding invitation suites?
Cost every piece in the envelope (cardstock with spoilage, printing, envelope, vellum, seal, ribbon), then add design and assembly time. Suites carry premium prices because they're five products and hours of handwork; the recipe proves it. From the Maker plan, Keepsel counts your time in the suite's cost too.
How do I manage stationery for multiple weddings at once?
Add up what June's three weddings need against the ivory cardstock on hand, in February, when a shortfall is still fixable. Keepsel keeps the count of every material, and from the Maker plan (or 25 messages free on the trial) you can ask Suli whether your stock covers the season's orders.
How far ahead should I order wedding stationery materials?
Work back from the mail date: invitations mail 8 weeks out, printing takes 2, so materials land 10–12 weeks before the wedding. From the Maker plan, low-stock alerts at the levels you set and Suli's reorder list keep the shelf ahead of that timeline.
Should I charge for wedding stationery samples?
Many stationers charge a small fee credited against the order: it filters serious inquiries and covers the very real material cost. Costing your sample pack tells you exactly what each inquiry costs to win.
How do I handle wedding color palettes in inventory?
Keep each palette color's cardstock as its own material, and from the Maker plan the same suite in blush, sage or navy can be variations, each with its own stock, cost and price. You'll learn which colors actually book, and stop stocking deep in the palette nobody chooses.
