Variations, from Maker

Built around how apparel brands actually work
Five sizes × six colors = thirty products
One design becomes a wall of combinations, each with its own stock level. From the Maker plan, variations keep the whole matrix under a single product, counted and priced, and from the Team plan Keepsel builds every combination from your sizes and colors for you.
Blanks are cash sitting on a shelf
Boxes of blanks in every size tie up real money, and the 2XLs always run out first. Count each size as its own material with a low-stock level on each, so the size curve stays funded without over-buying mediums.
Print costs hide in the details
DTF sheets, transfer film, press time, misprints: the per-shirt print cost is more than the film. Put every consumable in the recipe so the piece carries its whole cost.
A drop lives or dies on stock math
Launching a design means committing blanks before a single sale. With your sales recorded, from the Maker plan you can ask Suli how past designs sold by size and color, so the next drop's buy starts from your history instead of a coin flip.
Wildflower Print Tee, costed line by line
This is the math Keepsel does for every product you make: every line from its recipe, updated whenever a material's price changes.
Blank prices vary by size. From the Maker plan, each size can carry its own blank in its recipe, so 2XL margin is never a mystery.

A day in Keepsel, for apparel brands
Step 1
Receive blanks by the size curve
A blanks order goes in as per-size, per-color stock: S through 2XL each counted on its own.
Step 2
Recipe each design
Blank + print + tag + mailer per piece; the design's cost tracks the blank price it's actually built on.
Step 3
Press a run, log it once
From the Maker plan, a work order for thirty pieces across sizes deducts the blanks and film and adds the finished shirts to sellable stock (up to 10 a month on Maker as a trial and 100 on Team, unlimited on Business and Enterprise).
Step 4
Sell without overselling
From the Maker plan, every sale you record (site, market or wholesale) comes off one count per variation: when the last large sells, the count says so.
Questions apparel brands ask
How do I track t-shirt blanks across sizes and colors?
Track each blank size and color as its own material, so a blanks order goes in as separate counts for S–2XL in every colorway. From the Maker plan, printing runs as work orders that draw down the exact blank used, and a low-stock level on each size shows when the curve needs restocking.
How do I price printed apparel?
Cost the blank, the print (film, ink, press wear), tags and packaging, then add labor and margin. Most independent brands land between 3× and 5× all-in cost at retail; the key is knowing that cost per size, since blanks aren't priced flat.
How do I stop overselling sizes I don't have?
One count per size. From the Maker plan, every sale you record, from your site, a market or a wholesale order, comes off the same per-variation count, so the last medium can only be sold once. From the Team plan, a "keep at least" level on each size shows you before the size curve breaks.
How many blanks should I buy for a new design drop?
Let your history answer: if larges outsell smalls 3:1 on past designs, the next buy should look the same. With your sales recorded, from the Maker plan you can ask Suli for your sales by size, so the standard size-curve guess becomes your brand's actual curve.
Can Keepsel handle both DTF and screen-printed pieces?
Yes. Each design's recipe carries its own print method and cost. A DTF one-off and a 60-piece screen run can sit in the same catalog with honest, different margins.
